Biography

I am a former Olympian and international sprinter from Sierra Leone with a lifelong passion for athletics and human performance. Growing up within a disciplined military environment instilled in me the values of commitment, accountability, resilience, and excellence—principles that continue to shape my approach to coaching today.

My athletic journey began at a young age through participation in multiple sports, including athletics, volleyball, and handball. This diverse sporting background helped me develop the physical and mental qualities required for high-level performance, including speed, coordination, agility, balance, and competitive discipline.

As an athlete, I had the honour of representing Sierra Leone on the international stage, competing at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the 1987 World Athletics Championships in Rome. These experiences provided me with invaluable insight into elite performance, preparation, and the demands of competing at the highest level.

Following my competitive career, I transitioned into coaching, dedicating my expertise to the development of sprinters and athletes across a range of sports. Over the years, I have worked with elite athletes, including international sprinters such as Ashleigh Nelson (Great Britain) and Adeseye Ogunlewe (Nigeria), as well as professional footballers seeking to improve their speed, strength, agility, and explosive power.

Today, I am committed to helping athletes maximise their potential through evidence-based coaching, performance development, and long-term athlete progression. My goal is not only to improve athletic performance but also to develop confident, disciplined, and resilient individuals who can excel both in sport and in life.
